Cremation

Whispering Waters Cremation GardenIn 2001 Kingwood Memorial Park, a full service, non-profit Ohio cemetery, began a project to turn a dream into reality. As more families turned to cremation to memorialize there loved ones, Kingwood felt there was a need for a tranquil place for those families to reflect. After researching different gardens in Canada, Australia, California, Arizona, and Florida, Whispering Waters Cremation Garden was designed and built. Every last detail was created with the cremation family in mind.

Covering 2.5 acres of beautiful land within the 30-acre Kingwood Memorial Park, Whispering Waters offers a variety of memorialization options. Two large ponds are connected by a rolling stream and waterfall with reflecting pool over which a memorial wrought iron bridge stands. Surrounding the ponds and streams are over 400 trees and shrubs that form a different environment in each area.

There is a scattering garden with remembrance plaques, family niches overlooking the ponds, benches that hold cremated remains, solid granite boulders in which the cremated remains are securely situated, sandblasted granite boulders that allow the family true personalization, bronze plaques on the bridge and railing overlooking the water, family burials, traditional bronze markers, granite markers situated within a variety of gardens, and memorial landscape paver stones.

We are certain that Whispering Waters Cremation Garden will offer your family the perfect setting for remembering their loved ones. We encourage you to visit this beautiful area of Kingwood Memorial Park to fully understand the options your family has for memorialization.
